Just FYI, ‘Dr Luke’ is producing songs under the pseudonym ‘MADE IN CHINA’ now

If you’re someone who’s looking to avoid the works of pop music producer ‘Dr Luke,’ it’s come to my attention today that he thinks he can fool you by using another name.

“I don’t know what happened, but I know that regardless of whether or not Dr. Luke did that, this is his karma and he earned it because he’s not a good person.”
“He doesn’t do good business, he’s not a kind person, he doesn’t do the right thing when given ample opportunities to do so, and I don’t really feel that bad for him.”

This isn’t really news. He’s been doing this since last year but if you’re not as pop music obsessed as I am, it’s entirely possible that he could fool you.

So I’m just here to let you know that if you see the name Lucasz Gottwald in the writing credits and/or MADE IN CHINA in the production credits on Spotify or wherever you may be looking, that means the song has been worked on in some capacity by the guy we know as Dr Luke.

“He’s difficult to work with, kind of demeaning, it’s kind of unfortunate. People are like well you’ve worked with Max [Martin] and Luke and I’m like Max and Luke are very different. Obviously the dude is a talented guy but character-wise, no.

On a completely unrelated note, here’s the one lead Kim Petras song you can enjoy guilt free.
