INTRODUCING: Y2K & lil aaron’s ‘DAMN’

There is this fascinating sort of label / management company / potential cult emerging out of the States at the moment called Milk & Honey. They look after all sorts of futurists in the music space – from go-to pop maker Sir Nolan to our lady of the moment KIIARA (who just went Top 15 in Australia no biggie.)

They’ve also got quite good Australian pop thing Chase Atlantic under their wing and are crafting, alongside The Madden Brothers, a very exciting project. They’re quite visionary in their approach and they attract very, very good people.

One of their affiliates is a man named lil aaron, who we first bumped into just a couple of weeks ago when he made the wonderful artwork for KIIARA’s Say Anymore. Turns out he’s also a fire songwriter too – DAMN is a tune he made alongside Y2K the first time the pair met in LA, and they say it’s “the track that defined our sound”.

This is 2016 in a song.
