5 on-stage collabs we wanna see at The Plot today

The Plot is on in Parramatta Park today – and every year it becomes a more impressive scorecard on the year that has been in Australian music’s next big things. As music becomes more collaborative, it feels like everyone at The Plot today should jump into each other’s sets. Here’s five ~dream collabs~ we wanna see!

OH BOY + EVERYONE

Oh Boy’s the most iconic producer in Western Sydney rn, and this home area show for him is going to be one for the books. We saw on his Insta Story last night a ridiculous amount of people crammed into his rehearsal space – expect his mates Mallrat, Muki, Cult Shotta, and maybe even Sam Bluer from his single that dropped this week, Love Me Right.

NINAJIRACHI + MALLRAT

They’re on at opposite ends of the day, but this just feels like a collaboration that will happen one day for sure. So let’s skip the faffing around! The Rat could even jump on and sing Pure Luck. Her voice would suit it so well.

KUREN + DEAN LEWIS

Kuren’s been developing really quickly as a vocalist, but if he feels like a break, Dean Lewis has the vocal strength to deliver a Kuren hit fo shure.

RUBY FIELDS + YOUNGSTA CPT

There’s something about the energy of Cronulla’s coolest kid and one of the only internationals on the bill, Cape Town’s Youngsta CPT that could melt well together. It’s unlikely… but I want it!

MISS BLANKS + HAIKU HANDS

Today is a big celebration for Miss Blanks – she just popped out her debut EP Confessions Of A Thotaholic (iconic title) and it’s filled with six bangers about sex & body positivity, femme identity and fun. Haiku Hands represent that vibe really well – so perhaps a pop-up at one another’s sets could make heapsa sense!

The Plot is on today in Parramatta Park.
